Dr. Nitzan Kenig is a MIR-certified plastic surgeon and professor based in Mallorca with expertise plastic and aesthetic surgery, as well as with scientific work in Artificial Intelligence (AI) in surgery. He holds a medical degree from the University of Granada and a PhD (cum laude) focused on AI in surgery, along with two master’s degrees, and is an Associate Professor at CEU Luis Belda University, Mallorca.
He is a member of ISAPS, SECPRE, and SBCPRE, and has published widely in leading journals such as Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Journal of Clinical Medicine. His work has received international recognition, including the 2024 PRS GO Best Technological Article award (USA), as well as the BC Outstanding Author award (China).
Dr. Kenig trained at major institutions in Spain and internationally, and has worked in several hospitals and clinics across Spain. He currently practices in Palma and the Canary Islands.
An active speaker and researcher, he contributes to scientific journals as an editor and reviewer, and supports breast cancer survivors through the Image Reborn Foundation.
El Dr. Nitzan Kenig es un cirujano plástico certificado vía MIR y profesor con sede en Mallorca, con experiencia en cirugía plástica y estética, así como en trabajo científico en Inteligencia Artificial (IA) aplicada a la cirugía. Es licenciado en Medicina por la Universidad de Granada y doctor (cum laude) con una tesis centrada en la IA en cirugía; además, cuenta con dos másteres y es Profesor Asociado en la Universidad CEU Luis Belda, Mallorca.
Es miembro de ISAPS, SECPRE y SBCPRE, y ha publicado ampliamente en revistas de referencia como Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery y Journal of Clinical Medicine. Su trabajo ha recibido reconocimiento internacional, incluido el premio PRS GO Best Technological Article 2024 (EE. UU.), así como el premio BC Outstanding Author (China) y ha publicado en libros editados por profesores de Harvard, EEUU.
El Dr. Kenig se formó en importantes instituciones en España con experiencia adicional en La Paz de Madrid, con Dr. Pedro Cavadas en Valencia y a nivel internacional en Columbia y Corea del Sur, y ha trabajado en varios hospitales y clínicas en toda España. Actualmente ejerce en Palma y en las Islas Canarias.
Ponente e investigador activo, colabora con revistas científicas como editor y revisor, y apoya a supervivientes de cáncer de mama a través de la Image Reborn Foundation.

Dr. Kenig is the author of “Ethics for Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Medicine,” published by Springer Nature in the volume Business Ethics in the Healthcare Industry.
